Emergency Medical Technician, Associate Ambulance Practitioner, FREC 5

We are seeking dedicated and skilled EMT's, AAP's and FREC 5's to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality pre-hospital and emergency medical care to patients, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills, empathy, and a patient-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to emergency calls and provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured, as well as high-priority inter-hospital transfers.

- Utilise professional judgment to assess patient needs and provide appropriate medical interventions.

- Work collaboratively with other services personnel to ensure coordinated patient care.

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient care reports and handovers.

- Operate emergency vehicles safely and efficiently.

- Participate in continuous professional development and maintain role compliance.

- Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines.

- Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications:

- Current recognised EMT, AAP or FREC 5 Certificate.

- Proven experience in a fast-paced emergency environment with recent clinical practice.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

- A full, clean driving license.

- An approved emergency response driving qualification.

Desirable:

- Additional qualifications in Intermediate Life Support, Trauma, or other relevant areas.

- Experience with diverse patient populations.
